We are the shadows in the Valley of Death


Today we drove from Beatty, NV to the south rim of the Grand Canyon via Death Valley. We left at dawn (630 am) to avoid the intense 100+ F heat in Death Valley. Thank goodness because we were getting hot by 10 am!
